  • Babysitter Safety Program

    This one-day program is designed for young teens ages 11-14 who are interested in becoming babysitters.

    Participants will learn the basics of caring for children such as:

    • changing a diaper
    • feeding infants and toddlers
    • how to calm an upset child
    • and much more

    Participants will also learn the importance of responsibility, how to recognize an emergency, personal safety tips, and basic first aid and fire safety.

    This all-day course will help babysitters build their self-confidence as caretakers, as well as teach them many necessary skills to care for children properly.

    A car seat is one of the best ways you can protect your child while traveling, but searching for the right one isn't an easy task. Our classes and individual appointments will help guide you in your decision-making process and teach you how to install and use your car seat correctly. You will also learn when to transition your child to another seat and how to keep your child safe as he or she grows.

    • A nationally certified child passenger safety technician teaches all classes and will also assist you as you install your car seat in your vehicle
    • Classes are offered during the month at various times.

  • The Great Brainwash - 5k Water Obstacle Race

    It's wet, it's wild, it's mind blowing and all for a great cause, raising funds for brain tumor research.

    Wear anything wacky, wild and fun, come run as you are and join us on August 8 in downtown St. Pete. The after party will blow your mind with a band, free beer for those 21 and over, food, games and family fun. Test your speed or take your time, we will have the Big Baller and Extreme Obstacle from the TV show Wipe Out and many more mind altering obstacles for you to enjoy.

    The fun starts at 8:00am and goes all day! Your registration includes an event t-shirt, cool finishing medal, food and fun. Start your teams and your fundraising, or join alone or with friends, but don't miss out on the wackiest fun run that will keep you brain washed.

    It's time to make the pledge to play games and heal kids! Thousands of gamers will come together to play for 24 hours for Extra Life - a gaming event in support on Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®. This year, Extra Life will begin on Saturday, November 7 at 8:00am.

    Extra Life works just like a run, walk, or bike event, except that you never have to leave the comfort of your living room to participate. Just log on to extra-life.org and register yourself and/or your fundraising team. Then, ask your friends and family to support your efforts to Play Games and Heal Kids for as little as $1/hour.

     Everyone can participate. Hard-core gamers to families to athletes, as you can play any game(s) you want on any platform you want! Players can game for the 24 hours on November 7, spread out their hours over several days or play as a relay among team members. When and how you play is up to you.
