| Disaster Drill Tests New Emergency Center |

The NEW All Children's Hospital won't open to patients until mid-December of this year. But we're already working to ensure it's ready for anything from day one. A regularly scheduled countywide disaster drill on Friday August 7th was a perfect opportunity to test the new hospital's Pediatric Emergency Center. The EC's Clinical Manager Tom Connor, BSN, C-EN, RN - describes the drill scenario, a great test of the new decontamination showers that are permanently housed in an enclosed location adjacent to the EC's Ambulance Bays.
