The weather couldn't have been nicer for families at the 3rd Annual Pre-Father's Day event hosted by the St.

Enjoying the day's fun were Jeffrey Robinson and his daughter Endea who had her face painted in honor of her dad.

Petersburg Healthy Start Federal Project on Saturday, June 9 at Childs Park Recreation Community Center in St. Petersburg. 

More than 75 kids and their parents enjoyed activities that included: a kid's corner with face painting, Father's Day card creation station, bounce house, health screenings, sporting activities, music and giveaways. Exhibitors set up in the park to celebrate healthy families. 

The Healthy Start Federal Project focuses on reducing significant disparities in infant mortality, perinatal health and interconceptional health outcomes. Reaching out to fathers through this annual event is a goal of the All Children's Healthy Start Community Services Team.
