The Outpatient Care Center (OCC) will open for ambulatory care on Monday, January 18.

The OCC is located between the new Family/Visitor Parking Garage and the new All Children's Hospital. Most families and visitors will enter the OCC on the second floor via the walkways that connect the new garage, the OCC and the new Hospital. (Get maps and directions to the OCC)

Vehicles can enter the garage from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. (and can exit from the garage at any time). After families park in the garage and take the walkway to the OCC, they'll be welcomed at a Registration/Greeter area. A Patient Relations Coordinator will staff this area between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. (tentative schedule), and Security or Volunteer Resources will provide assistance at other times when families can enter from the garage.

Families and employees can enjoy the new OCC Allkids Café on the second floor, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The café features an expanded selection of cold and hot items plus Starbucks coffee and blended drinks. Hours are  7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The first floor includes Ronald McDonald House Central, which will open to families on Monday, February 15). RMH Central will provide daytime services that include use of computers, television, laundry facilities, snacks and rooms for showers and naps during limited daytime hours. There are also 14 bedrooms for families of ICU patients (after that families can transition to the East or West house).

There is a first-floor entrance to the OCC at the southeast corner of the building. The first-floor lobby contains an outgoing mailbox, a lab drop-off box and an ACH billing drop-off box.

1st floor: Health Information Management, Conference Rooms/Classrooms & Ronald McDonald House Central
 
2nd floor: Outpatient Registration, Pediatric Cardiology, Perinatal Cardiology, Outpatient Lab (patient area), Outpatient Radiology (x-ray), Pulmonary Function Testing, Allkids Cafe, Medical Staff Office, Hospital Administration, Family Resource Center (opening at a later date)
 
3rd floor: Pediatric General Surgery & Plastic Surgery, Infusion Center, Hematology-Oncology-BMT, Allergy-Immunology-Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism, Nephrology, Clinical Nutrition

4th floor: Clinical Laboratory (non-patient area)
 
5th floor: Pediatric Infectious Disease, Clinical Genetics, General Pediatrics, All Children's Specialty Physician Administration
 
Additional pediatric physician practices will move into the OCC during the next several months.
