Cornea

(En español: Córnea)

Say: kor-nee-uh

It's part of your eye, but you've probably never noticed it before. The cornea is thin, clear and covers your eye. It's important because it helps you see by focusing light as it enters the eye. So take a good look at your eye the next time you look in the mirror, and try to spot your cornea!
