Central Auditory Processing is what the brain does with what the ears hear. Our auditory system is very complex - it must detect or "hear" the sound and then it must process the information for understanding.

Testing is available at most All Children's locations. We use a test battery that allows us the most complete picture of the child's processing abilities. The testing takes three to four hours and a report and counseling are usually completed the day of testing.
The report specifically covers the auditory processing skills with which the child is having problems and recommendations for school and home success. If needed, recommendations will be made for further testing. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 727-767-8989.
