Ability to perform physical activity, including, but not limited to: repetitive motions, feeling, grasping, fingering (pinching, typing, handling, etc.) lifting, pulling, pushing, walking, standing, reaching, crouching, and stooping. Current licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse, BSN preferred - NRP certification, ACLS and PALS required within one year. A minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse. Commits to work over 1251 hours annually of which 288 are weekend hours. Works two (2) major holidays per year, one summer and one winter. Cognitive skill required to safely administer medication. Physical ability to perform all aspects of patient care, including CPR on all patients ranging in age from neonate to adult. Read/write/speak and understand English. Auditory and visual ability to assess and provide nursing care. Ability to effectively interact with patients, families, physicians, ancillary and support staff.
