ACH Family Advisory Council Thanks Outgoing Members

(l-r) Darren Swain with co-chairs Cindy Driscoll and Paula Swain

The ACH Family Advisory Council (FAC) thanks the outgoing members who have completed their two-year terms. This group has served the hospital during a historic time as we went through the move to the new hospital and became integrated with Johns Hopkins Medicine. The parents and patients who have completed their service were recognized at the monthly FAC meeting on October 18.

The Family Advisory Council (FAC) was organized to promote the practice of family-centered care at All Children's Hospital (ACH). The Council serves in an advisory role to provide positive and constructive feedback to ACH leaders and to influence and support sensitivity to the emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families. The Family Advisory Council is made up of parents, patients and ACH staff. All members of the FAC have a common desire to work together to provide ACH patients and families with the best care and service possible.
