All Children's Hospital Teams Up with the Lung Association To Host Asthma Educator Institute on Jan. 26-27

 

The workshop steering committee includes: Jeffrey Ewig, MD, Seifu Demissie, MD, Karen Baybut, RN, BSN, Pam Neeley, PharmD, Trish Blake, RT, and representatives from the American Lung Association

All Children's Hospital is teaming up with the American Lung Association to offer the two-day Asthma Educator Institute on January 26-27, 2012 for healthcare professionals who want to improve their ability to provide asthma education for patients and families. The Institute covers the curriculum needed to sit for the National Asthma Educator Certification Board exam. Case reviews, hands-on skills presentation and practice are included in the two-day workshop.  The program will be held in All Children's Outpatient Care Center.

RT and RN continuing education hours are available. Registration is $250 with a 10 percent discount available for groups of eight or more. For registration information, please visit: www.AEI-Florida.org.
