| AHCA Secretary Benson Visits New All Children's Facility |

Last week, Florida Agency for Health Care Administration Secretary Holly Benson toured the new All Children's Hospital as part of a special visit to discuss upcoming legislation and issues facing health care providers. "At each of the stops, we heard from nurses, doctors and administrators about ways they are improving the design of their facilities to enhance the patient experience," Ms. Benson wrote in her recent Health eNotes newsletter. "We also heard from them about how they are using their internal performance measures, as well as measures shared through floridahealthfinder.gov to drive continuous improvement." According to Benson, the goal of the visit was to get input from providers for the upcoming year's agenda, including strategic planning and budget requests. All Children's Hospital was able to provide AHCA its perspective as an advocate of pediatric health and help the agency advance its mission of "better health care for all Floridians."
