Becky's colleague added:
First off, let me start by saying I've been a patient at All Children's on numerous occasions. Never before have I come in contact with a nurse who puts her heart into what she is paid to do. The reason I say this is because Becky shows the utmost concern for the way her patients feel, even if she is busy. She always does her job to perfection. She always walks into my room with a smile and warm greeting. She talks to me and gives a lot of ‘motherly support.' She never lets my machine beep longer than a minute. My stay at All Children's was hard for me at first until I met her. I had to have numerous tests done that were very difficult for me. Becky made it a point to stay with me and hold my hand, rub my back, wipe my tears and let me know everything was OK. Becky does her job to the best of her ability and with the care and concern that isn't seen too much in today's society.
Becky, thank you so much for your wonderful Service Excellence and all you do for the patients, families and staff at All Children's Hospital. Congratulations for receiving the May 2008 Employee of the Month honors!
