| Cindy Stovall, RN is the March 2013 DAISY Award Recipient |
Cindy's primary concern is for the safety and comfort of the patient and their families. Cindy demonstrates compassion and is considerate of RNs on our unit. She goes out of her way to achieve continuity of care for all patients. She controls the pain for all her patients. She tries to comfort families when children go through surgery by educating them and showing empathy. Cindy, in my opinion, excels at her job and is a great asset to ACH. Just when I begin to think Cindy has exceeded my expectations and the expectations of patients and families, she outdoes herself again. In my many years as a nurse, I have yet to find any PACU nurse like Cindy. Please give Cindy the recognition she deserves! Cindy's supervisors added: Cindy is a very caring, knowledgeable professional nurse," said Penny Boyd, RN, MSN, CNOR, Administrative Director of Perioperative Services. She often goes above and beyond. She is a great role model and we are extremely proud to have her on our team. Cindy is very dedicated in providing excellent patient family centered care," said Bonnie Baker, RNC, MSN, Clinical Manager, Perioperative Services, Preop/PACU. Every day she goes out of her way to calm and comfort a crying child and provide comfort and education to anxious families in post op and the PACU. Cindy demonstrates service excellence and is an asset to the perioperative team at ACH. Thank you Cindy, for the compassionate care you provide our patients. |
