Responsible for the clerical tasks and oversight of day-to-day operations for the practice including answering telephones, scheduling appointments, patient check-in and check-out, medical record management, insurance authorization retrieval, point-of-service collection of fees, and general secretarial support for the physician staff. Will float to all ACSP clinics as required.
High School Diploma or GED required. Four years of clerical experience, two years in a medical setting required. Advanced computer skills, including the ability to use several software programs at the same time and navigate websites related to patient care activities. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to demonstrate positive interpersonal skills required. The ability to work effectively within a high energy, fast paced setting and multi-task with minimal supervision is essential. The ability to travel to all ACSP clinics is required. Medical terminology preferred. Billing and third party payor experience helpful
