Food Service Supervisor

Description: Food Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Main Cafeteria area as well as the OCC café, All Kids café, Doctors Lounge and supports the Patient Food Service area. Serves as a working lead Supervisor responsible for supervising and managing food production, service areas, sanitation, and cash handling procedures. Completes work duties according to PCD while maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary work environment. Complies with Health Department, HACCP, OSHA and JCAHO standards while performing job duties.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. AA degree in hospitality preferred. Previous supervisory experience required. 3 or more years of related work experience preferred. Fundamental skills in reading, writing of the English language required. The ability to utilize basic math to count and reconcile cash register receipts. Ability to represent the Food Service Department using courtesy and guest relation. Must complete various training programs as assigned. Maintains current Servsafe certification and any locally-required certifications. Good interpersonal and communication skills necessary. Works under minimal supervision. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals. Must have good personal hygiene. May be required to work flexible days and hours
