Description: The Videographer is responsible for helping conceptualize, shoot, edit, and produce high-quality marketing, communications, training videos and still photographs that effectively communicate the mission and values of All Children’s Hospital. From initial concept to completed video, the Videographer works in a highly-collaborative environment with team members in design, script writing, shot list creation, field and studio shooting (both A-roll and B-roll), and voiceover audio tasks to produce compelling videos in the Final Cut Pro editing suite. Beyond technical competence, storytelling and collaboration are essential skill sets for this position.
Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Radio/Television, Film, or related field and two (2) years’ experience operating video cameras and editing equipment. Apple applications/technologies. Apple OS proficiency required including administrative and network experience for operation and maintenance of the digital storage network. Apple X-RAID administrative skills required for the department’s digital storage and archiving, including tape-based DVCPRO 25/50. Software proficiency in: Adobe Photoshop CS, Adobe After-Effects Professional. Apple Final Cut Pro , Soundtrack Pro, Livetype, Compressor and DVD Studio Pro a plus. Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office a plus. Must be experienced in lighting and shooting for corporate communications productions, understand the importance of audio, and be experienced using high definition cameras and digital workflows. Tape-based experience is a plus with regard to archived footage. Experience: 2+ years’ experience in video production. Must have a good sense of strong image composition. Demonstrated professional experience shooting video. Familiar with voiceover recording equipment and best practices. Graphic design experience is plus.
