This position manages the collection process for assigned physician practices.
High School graduate or GED equivalent required. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Good interpersonal skills. At least 3 years’ experience working with physician receivables (billing, follow up, and collections). Working knowledge of CPT-4 and ICD-9 coding required. Ability to use hospital and physician information systems. Visual and auditory acuity to operate general office equipment required. Ability to be diplomatic in difficult situations. Ability to effectively deal with stress and manage multiple priorities.
