Functions as the sterile member of the surgical team. Provides skillful assistance during surgical procedures, and serves as a resource person within the department.
Certified Surgical Technologist required. Graduate of accredited Surgical Technologist program. Two years of experience as Surgical Technician required. Good physical health required for long and strenuous periods of work, including physical dexterity. Ability to communicate clearly. Neat and clean appearance. Is emotionally stable with stamina to meet demands. Is able to function during stress and emergency situations. Demonstrates initiative, judgment, and the ability to maintain sound interpersonal relationships. Willing to work extra hours as schedule dictates, accepts call responsibilities within six months of hire date.
