Professional Recruiter

Description: Responsible for recruitment of candidates for nursing unit positions and support staffing for patient care units. This will include conducting interviews, recommending candidates, processing relocation, referral and immigration documentation.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field. In lieu of Bachelor's degree, an advanced Human Resources certification and extensive recruitment experience considered in preferably a healthcare setting. A minimum of two to three years Human Resources and/or management experience required. PC/computer experience required. Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally to include public speaking and composition skills. Must demonstrate excellent interviewing and analytical skills. Ability to transport, attend, assemble and disassemble display/literature at job fairs and recruiting functions. Will have access to information which must be treated with confidentiality. Has contact with a wide range of people requiring tact and diplomacy. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Requires movement throughout the hospital campus and its buildings. Some local travel required. Requires some weekend and extended hours to accomplish responsibilities. Extensive use of the telephone and regular use of a computer terminal requiring repetitive hand, wrist and finger motion
