Current licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse, BSN Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred.
Professional Certification required within the first year of employment.
Five years of Pediatric Nursing experience preferred. Some positions may have specific experience requirements.
Cognitive skill required to administer safe patient care.
Read/write/speak and understand English.
Ability to effectively interact with patients, families, physicians, ancillary and support staff.
Ability to effectively manage within an environment of emotional and physical stress.
Work hours may include weekend, holidays, other shifts and other units.
May be required to be on call.
Certain areas may require travel. Travel may include commuting by car, transporting in an ambulance, helicopter or fixed wing aircraft. Any travel has associated risks.
