Indoor, climate controlled environment. Must be able to carry medications to nursing stations, push carts and move about the hospital and hospital campus. Must be able to work in confined areas. Must be able to access tiered shelving. May be required to handle antineoplastic or cytotoxic products and to do work with sharp objects including needles. Light to moderate lifting may be required up to 35 lbs. Lengthy periods spent at computer terminal requiring visual concentration and data entry skills. Requires extensive communication with health care providers.
Patient Contact: Occasional patient contact, including infants, toddlers, middle-childhood, pre-pubertal adolescence and adult.
