The Community Education Instructor teaches a variety of health and safety programs for adults and children. The instructor also assists with community-based activities and special events.
Must have a minimum of one year of teaching, preferably with pediatric issues. Bachelor degree in education/ health related field or applicable licensure preferred. Three years of appropriate experience may substitute for degree. Must demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills. Must be able to meet qualifications and become certified (or approved) instructor for programming sponsored by the Community Education Department. Prior experience with special events preferred
