Responsible for all support and maintenance of the labor management reporting system. Responsible for validation and routine maintenance of decision support systems residing in the Finance Division. Provides standard and customized reporting and analyses to user departments throughout the Health System. Provides key support for the implementation of new and upgraded systems/releases or new/revised operational procedures. Trains other employees in the use of decision support systems and reporting tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent required. Computer skills and proficient knowledge of spreadsheet/graphics software, presentation software, database software, and report writer software required. Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL reporting tools is desired. Must possess a basic understanding of Labor Management methodologies and some experience with productivity reporting systems. Experience in training other users, presenting to workgroups, and assisting with facilitating task groups also strongly desired. Must possess strong financial analysis skills, project management skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal direction. Minimum of one to three years experience working in a decision support or financial analysis responsibility in a managed care healthcare provider environment.
