Programmer Analyst Cerner CCL and MPages. Under the supervision of the Director, Clinical and Financial Systems, designs, develops, debugs, and maintains programs for interfaces and reports and monitors and executes day to day production support for interfaces, reports, ops jobs, and backend tables. Performs analysis and coding of programs designed per specifications developed with support of application analysts. Maintains documentation needed to produce reports and interfaces. Analyzes and revises system logic. Primarily provides support to IT analyst teams and project, but also provides interface and report support to the end users of the hospital. Work is performed under general supervision using industry standard programming techniques. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are expected.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university is required. Three years of Health care experience is desirable. Five years programming experience with a knowledge of systems analysis methodologies, standardized SQL like programming techniques is required. Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of systems design and installation tasks. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with management and fellow employees. Mobility throughout the hospital campus. No heavy lifting. Works primarily with a personal computer which involves substantial repetitive motions. Ability to use the telephone is required
