PER DIEM
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible to provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team at the hosp and/or outpatient care centers as assigned. Provides supervision to Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst(BCaBA). Provides ABA activities utilizing evidenced based practice to insure a quality culture, and to satisfy customer needs for services, outcomes, and costs. Receives clinical peer review by the Director of ABA Services, Clinical Coordinator of ABA Services, and/or other BCBA designee.
Requirements:
Masters in Psychology or related field (Child Development, Education, etc. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Minimum of two years of ABA experience, including implementing and supervising functional behavioral assessments, functional analyses, verbal behavior programs, and individual behavior plans. Pediatric experience highly preferred. Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written); diversified and complex approach to analyze and interpret specific and non-specific information in the decision making process. Ability to perform physical activity, including but not limited to: repetitive motions, feeling, grasping, fingering (typing, handling, etc.) lifting, pushing, walking, standing, reaching, crouching, and stooping. Cognitive ability to administer and calculate evaluation instruments accurately. Must have auditory and visual acuity to assess patients and provide clinical care on an as needed basis. Must be able to demonstrate competency and understand/react to the age-specific needs unique to assigned patients. CPR certification. Ability to effectively deal with stress. Read, write, speak, and understand English. Able to use computers and telehealth technology/equipment.
