Registered Pharmacist who coordinates departmental initiatives related to initial and ongoing training, education, competency and skills assessment. Oversees the implementation and ongoing maintenance of ACPE educational program. Responsible for contributing educational assessments for 90-day and annual employee performance appraisals.
Requirements:
Graduate of an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy. Active Florida Pharmacist Registration required. Completion of a ASHP PGY-2 Residency or five to seven years of experience in hospital setting, pediatric hospital experience preferred. Previous experience or training in education preferred. Training and experience in USP 797 Standards preferred. Competency in the preparation of compounded medications unique to pediatric pharmacy preferred. Must be able to function independently with limited or no supervision. Supervisory experience desired. Excellent communication (written and verbal), computer skills with competency in Microsoft Office Products - Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Power Point. Proficiency in operating and maintaining pharmaceutical technology (e.g. Automated Dispensing Cabinets, Carousel, Robotics)
