LAKEWOOD RANCH LOCATION, Per Diem
Receptions and performs routine and advanced office, scheduling and registration functions for all programs and multidisciplinary services supported by the center. Provides general secretarial support to the Director of that center as needed. Provides support to insure a quality culture and to satisfy customer needs for services, outcomes, and costs.
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Associate degree preferred. Four years of clerical experience, including two years in a medical and/or rehabilitation services setting preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology. Advanced computer skills, including the ability to use several software programs at the same time and navigate websites to facilitate continutity of patient care. Knowledge of billing and third party insurance authorization process preferred. Ability to interact with multiple health care providers and large patient volumes within a high energy, fast-paced environment. Ability to stoop, crouch, and reach to retrieve files. Mobility to move about the site or Hospital campus. Light work (exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally). Visual and auditory acuity to operate general office equipment. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Good interpersonal skills. Basic math skills for statistical and other reports. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. Ability to effectively deal with stress and produce work on demand and within short time frames amidst frequent interruptions. Strong organizational skills
