(Posted on 07/24/2014) State Senators Jeff Brandes and Wilton Simpson visited All Children’s on Friday, July 11th for a lunch reception co-hosted by USF St. Petersburg. Board members from both institutions, as well as members of All Children’s leadership team, attended the luncheon to hear the Senators share about their successes in the 2014 Legislative Session that will benefit Pinellas and Pasco Counties and throughout the state.
(Posted on 07/23/2014) St. Petersburg – July 23 2014 - All Children’s Hospital Johns Hopkins Medicine will open an outpatient care center in South Tampa later this year, bringing a range of specialized services tailored to the health care needs of local families. Pediatric services at the family-friendly facility will include occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech language therapy, cardiology testing as well as pediatric specialty physician visits.
(Posted on 07/17/2014) ll Children’s Hospital has teamed up with the Tampa Bay Rays, the City of St. Petersburg, and the Edible Peace Patch Project to promote healthy eating and fitness through the Rays Dugout Club program. This program is reaching over 1,200 students ranging from 6 to 12 years of age.
(Posted on 07/16/2014) St. Petersburg – July 16, 2014 - All Children’s Hospital Johns Hopkins Medicine launched a new study that will focus on healthy infants and young children, looking at prenatal and early childhood factors that could influence health problems later in life. Researchers working on the PREDICT (Prospective Research on Early Determinants of Illness and Children’s health Trajectories) study will take advantage of the Johns Hopkins Medicine pediatric biorepository at All Children's Hospital which will store samples of blood and saliva from the healthy infants and young children for long-term studies.
