History Of the Love Light Program
In 1984 Ellis Sexton, a member of the All Children's Hospital Guild Beach Branch was inspired by her Mother, to introduce a Love Light Program as a fundraiser for the hospital. The program has been ongoing ever since.
For many years, a special Love Light Tree Ceremony was held annually on the first Sunday in December. Invitations and programs were sent to all who had received a Love Light, and all who had sent a Love Light during the year. The Love Lights were used to honor or memorialize loved ones and to benefit All Children's Hospital.
Even though there is no tree - the Love Light is still there. When you honor someone, memorialized someone or just say thank you to someone by giving a donation in their name, your Love Light shines through. Thank you for your support of this program
How Does It Work?
The Love Lights program is a longstanding tradition of the Guild. It is a unique way to honor or celebrate someone, to say Thank You, celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion. Throughout the year, Love Lights can be purchased with a $10 minimum amount by any Branch or community members.
Love Light forms are submitted/mailed to the All Children's Hospital Foundation Office and processed by Guild Council. The family of those celebrated and the honoree receives an announcement.
Please use the Love Light form below with the directions on where to mail the form and donation to.
Thank you for considering this unique way to honor or celebrate someone special.
If you have further questions, please contact Paula Keyser, Love Lights Chair.
