All Children's Hospital Guild Council

Welcome from Judy McDermott Guild Council Chairman

All Children's Hospital Guild is a service organization whose mission is to advocate, volunteer, and fundraise for children and families of All Children's Hospital. It was formed in 1949 in St. Petersburg, Florida and has grown to more than 400 members and nine Branches.  The nine Branches cover four counties. Our current Branches are St. Petersburg Day, Beach, Seminole/Largo, North Pinellas, Evening, Pasco, Sarasota/Manatee, Tampa, and Brandon. The Branches host more than thirty fundraising events throughout the year to support our mission and 100% of funds raised through these events supports All Children's Hospital. Events include galas, golf tournaments, fashion shows, buncos and card parties, walkathons and much more. At the 2014 ACH Telethon, All Children's Hospital Guild presented a check to the hospital for over $460,000.

Over the years, the Guild has donated over ten million dollars to multiple projects such as over four million dollars for the Newborn Intensive Care Unit in the hospital, a Rose & Butterfly Garden for families and staff to enjoy and a one million Endowed Chair for Pediatric Research.

The JHU-USF Endowed Guild Chair is filled by Dr. Eric Storch. Dr Storch's four major research areas are autism, obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety, and tic disorders. In addition, he has raised over five million dollars in grant money for further research. The age range of children involved is from two to seventeen years of age and there is no cost to the hundreds of children who enroll in these programs.

The Guild is currently in the last year of a three year pledge $900,000 pledge to Pediatric Palliative Care Program. This program at All Children's Hospital helps provide a coordinated, comprehensive, and compassionate approach to caring for children with life-limiting or potentially life-threatening illnesses and injuries. The Guild's gift will create an endowment to expand and sustain the multidisciplinary Palliative Care Program.

In addition to the pledge commitment, each Branch has a Legacy Fund in which monies support timely and urgent needs of the hospital and the six ACH Outpatient Care Centers. This includes research funding, program or clinical support, and advocacy or educations support.

We need your help to continue the Guild's Mission, which is to advocate, volunteer and fundraise for the children and families of All Children's Hospital. Come join us to help the kids by contacting All Children's Hospital Guild Coordinator, Alison Debowsky, (727)767-3879.
