As a Charter Board member since our Branch formed in 2006, I am continually inspired by our experienced, talented branch members as we reach out to the community to raise awareness and funds for All Children's Hospital. I'm often asked to explain what the Guild is and how it helps All Children's Hospital. Here's the answer:
The All Children's Hospital Guild is made up of dedicated volunteers who assist the ACH Foundation by providing resources for children who need the Hospital's services. From a single organization formed in 1949 in St. Petersburg, Florida, the Guild has grown to include more than 400 members in nine branches.
The most recent Guild gift was to the Applied Behavior Analysis Program at All Children's Hospital. Past Guild fundraising activities provided the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in the new hospital that opened in January 2010.
In 2009, the Guild created the Legacy Fund. Our branch now sets aside a percentage of the funds raised during the year to support the All Children's Outpatient Care Center Tampa, located on Bruce B. Downs. Currently, we are in need of toys which are given to visiting children at the Outpatient Care Center in Tampa. We want to make that dream come true this year.
Please contact me if you like more information regarding the Tampa Branch. We are proud to be a part of All Children's Hospital and we hope you consider joining our co-ed group. With your generous support, we can continue "Creating healthy tomorrows... for one child, for All Children".
