Welcome from our President, Sandy Hall

 

 

I am so honored to be given the privilege to serve as the President of the Beach Branch for the 2012-2013 year. I am proud to be one of the fifty women in this branch, who work hard, and are so dedicated to our mission: to advocate, volunteer and fundraise for children and families of All Children's Hospital.

The year ahead of us will be a busy one. Our goal is to raise funds for the Pediatric Palliative Care Program, or "I Care", as we call it. This program at All Children's Hospital helps provide a coordinated, comprehensive, and compassionate approach to caring for children with life-limiting or potentially life-threatening illnesses and injuries. The Guild's gift will also create an endowment to expand and sustain the multidisciplinary Palliative Care Program.

For the 2012-2013 year, we are very excited with these upcoming events:

In addition to our fundraisers, we support the Ronald McDonald House by serving pizza the last Friday of each month. We also donate items from their monthly Wish Lists, and items for the children and their families at the Christmas Holidays.

Our meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month, September - May, at The Club at Treasure Island. Meetings times are 10:30am, followed by a lunch, which is optional. If you are interested in learning more about the Beach Branch Guild or our events, please contact me.
