Looking for a fun and exciting way to support All Children's Hospital, network and make a difference in your community? It's time you learned more about the Development Council.
The members of the Development Council are advocates for children through friend-raising and fund-raising opportunities in the Tampa Bay community. We also strive to instill community ownership in children's health care issues and in the programs of All Children's Hospital. I invite and encourage you to join our group and become an advocate today.
Development Council programs include exciting events like the annual VIP Auction, hosted dinners at the Ronald McDonald House, Lunch & Learn educational programs, fundraising happy hours, legislative advocacy, general membership meetings, participation in All Children's annual Radiothon fundraiser and much more. We offer many activities in which to get involved, and the amount of your participation is entirely up to you. We are a fun, diverse group with more than 80 members from the greater Tampa Bay area.
The Development Council selects specific programs at All Children's to support through monetary pledges. Currently the Council has chosen as our current pledge $1 million in support of the new All Children's Pediatric Surgical Fellowship. We intend to fulfill the pledge by December 31, 2015. It's an ambitious goal and we are very encouraged by the prestige a program of this magnitude will bring the hospital - and the good it will do for its patients.
I invite you to join me and the other members of a growing organization dedicated to ensuring the continued success of All Children's and its patients in creating healthier tomorrows for the kids in our community and beyond.
The Development Council of All Children's Hospital Foundation was established to encourage young community leaders to become advocates for All Children's Hospital. The Council's programs include community education, fundraising, friendraising, and legislative activities that enhance the Hospital's Role as a leading pediatic treatment, education, teaching and research center.
Since 1985, the Council's efforts have assisted in generating over $2.4 million for programs and services. The Development Council seeks members who wish to serve All Children's Hospital and work for better ways to provide quality healthcare for our children. The Council is an excellent way to meet new people, have fun and network with other professionals from the community.
