This year’s Tangerine Blues Fest will be held on Saturday, September 29 on an outdoor stage at 49th Street and Tangerine Ave. S. (18th Ave. S.). The 49th Street South Business Association is once again producing this year’s concert. Admission and parking are free. Gates will open at 3:00pm and the live music runs until 10:00pm.
A portion of proceeds from this year’s event will once again benefit All Children's Hospital.
Firebrand singer/guitarist Sean Chambers headlines this year’s festival. The homegrown product has toured with guitar legend Hubert Sumlin and carved out a substantial career on the international blues scene.
Tyrone Square Mazda has signed on as title sponsor, making the event’s official name “Tyrone Square Mazda Presents the Tangerine Blues Festival.” Newchannel 8 (WFLA-TV) has joined as media sponsor. Other sponsors are the City of Gulfport and the City of St. Petersburg.
