About Dr. Jeffrey K. Carlson, M.D.
Dr. Carlson is Director of the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology for All Children's Specialty Physicians. He has practiced in St. Petersburg since 1985 and was the founding partner of OB/GYN Associates (which became All Children's Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists in 2009), delivering an estimated 4,000 babies over the years. A graduate of the University of South Florida College of Medicine, Dr. Carlson completed his post-graduate training at the State University of New York-Buffalo and the USF-affiliated obstetrics and gynecology residency program at Bayfront Medical Center.
Dr. Carlson is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He practices gynecology and gynecologic surgery and has a limited obstetrics practice. His special interests include urogynecology, menopause and osteoporosis management, fetal umbilical stem cell banking, and clinical indications for stem cell therapy. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Florida Perinatal Association. Since 2001, Dr. Carlson has been recognized by his peers as one of the region's "Best Doctors." He is available to see new and continuing patients at both office locations and for inpatient consultations at All Children's Hospital, Bayfront Medical Center and St. Petersburg General Hospital.
