Learning Objectives:

After attending this activity, participants will demonstrate the ability to:

  • identify leukemia stem cells as a model for the development of treatments for AML
  • demonstrate individualized medicine as a future treatment model for AML
  • describe the potential use of immunotherapy, and small molecule inhibitors in cancer and AML therapy
