Learning Objectives: Learning Objectives: After attending this activity, participants will demonstrate the ability to:
- Identify the factors that contribute to the dramatic decline in maternal-to-child transmission of HIV within developed countries.
- Define how to prevent HIV maternal-to-child transmission.
- Discuss the long term inflammatory consequences of HIV infection in children and adolescents.
