This seventeen-minute documentary tells the hospital's story, from its inception as Florida's first children's polio hospital in the 1920s to its present day evolution as a pediatric academic medical center within Johns Hopkins Medicine.
Produced by the All Children's Hospital Marketing and Community Relations Division, the story unfolds in the words of fourteen key individuals from throughout the hospital's history. Archive images and video footage bring the various stages of All Children's growth to life. For long-time employees, the video is a trip down memory lane. For those new to the organization, it's an introduction to the hospital's origins; its long-held commitment to bettering children's lives through treatment, teaching and research; and its special relationship to the community responsible for its growth and success.
