Becky Graham is the November 2012 Employee of the Month
Rebecca (Becky) Graham is the November 2012 Employee of the Month. Becky works as a Patient Access Specialist in the Patient Access Service Center and has been with All Children's since 2010.
Becky was recognized for her Service Excellence by a fellow employee who said:
We had a patient's doctor's office call to schedule an appointment for a child that had an abnormal chest x-ray. The child's mother was in the doctor's office and crying hoping to get in as soon as possible. Knowing the child had an abnormal chest x-ray, Becky called me (RN in Cardiology) asking if we could somehow get the patient in to be seen right away. Because of Becky's call, the child was emergently admitted with a life threatening condition to the intensive care unit (ICU) from our All Children's Outpatient Care, Sarasota. It was because of Becky's prudence the child was seen so quickly and admitted to the ICU and received life saving care. She really went above and beyond as a patient advocate. She helped save a life!
Becky's Department Director added:
Becky's critical thinking skills and compassion make her an excellent scheduler for the cardiac department. She ensures the patient's families are taken care of in a professional and efficient manner, always putting the patient's needs as the priority. She is a great example of the All Children's Service Standards at all times and is an incredible asset to the department.
