Sylvia Ameen has been named Vice President of the All Children's Hospital Foundation. Sylvia has been with the Foundation since 1989, most recently as Associate Vice President responsible for oversight of major and leadership gift giving. During her tenure with the Foundation she has provided direction and leadership to the All Children's Hospital Foundation Development Council, Planned and Annual Giving and the ACH Guild, in addition to organizing and guiding key fundraising activities.

Sylvia directed the $75 million Capital Campaign for the construction of the new hospital and secured donations to fund and sustain the Vincent Lecavalier Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center, the Jeffrey Modell Diagnostic and Research Center, and Zoe's Edible Garden.

In 2007, Sylvia garnered a $3 million individual commitment to All Children's Hospital in support of patient education and entertainment (GetWellNetwork) and the hospital's music therapy program, the largest individual gift in the history of the hospital. Last year, she helped secure a multi-million dollar gift from the Tampa Bay Area Credit Unions for Kids that is helping to fund our new Autism Center and also worked with the V Foundation to establish the Dick Vitale Pediatric Cancer Fellowship at All Children's Hospital, a three-year training program in pediatric cancer research.

Sylvia earned a B.A. from Eckerd College and is a Certified Fundraising Executive, She is active in the community, and is a member of the St. Petersburg Suncoasters and the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy.
