BLAST is a unique summer sports camp, developed for middle and high school athletes. It's designed to enhance sports performance and prepare your competitive athlete for high-level competition. This camp will be conducted by certified athletic trainers with experience in youth sports, collegiate sports, NFL and MLB professional athletics, recreational water sports, and elite action sports (including X-games and Dew sports). Our goal and focus is to improve core strength, balance, landing mechanics, agility,exibility and endurance with lower and upper extremity strengthening and injury prevention of youth athletes.

This program is also designed to give young athletes the necessary skills to achieve their goals. There will be sport specific instruction for each athlete, including proper warm up and a injury prevention program. There will also be an emphasis on teaching athletes correct biomechanics & exercise techniques.

The camp is designed for kids ages 12 and up. The cost is $225 per person. There's a total of 15 sessions (no session on July 4th). The camp will take place every Monday and Wednesday beginning June 18th - August 1st from 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. in our new state of the art sports gym at the ACH Child Development and Rehabilitation Center, located at 880 6th Street South in St. Petersburg
