As summer quickly approaches the backyard pool will be used much more frequently. With this increased usage, families with young children will experience many fun filled days in the pool.Florida Safe Pools led by All Children's Hospital teamed up with St. Petersburg Fire Rescue on Friday, April 20 to canvas the Lake Pasadena neighborhood promoting free pool safety checks.
Scheduled by appointment, these pool safety checks were conducted by trained fire service and EMS personnel. Some families received a free door alarm at the time of the check. According to the property appraiser's website, the Lake Pasadena neighborhood has approximately 1,500 residential pools.
