All Children's Consortium Coordinator Amber Tellis represented the Healthy Start Federal program recently in Washington DC. Attending the National Healthy Start Annual Conference, Amber was part of a Healthy Start 15-member delegation from Tampa Bay. Rrepresentatives from our program and those from 104 other national Healthy Start programs advocated for continued support on Capitol Hill.
Clients who were served by Healthy Start shared their stories with their Congressional Representatives. This year's conference theme, Our Blueprint for the Future: Building Healthy Families, captured the spirit of Healthy Start and built on its 20-year history of serving families.
