Magician Kevin Spencer Visits ACH to Entertain Patients and Train Staff
Magician Kevin Spencer visited ACH on January 16 to perform for our patients and provide some special training for our staff.
He was in town for a performance at Ruth Eckerd Hall. Staff members from Acute Care Rehab (OT, PT and SLP), Outpatient Occupational Therapy, Outpatient Speech Language Pathology and Child Life watched Kevin perform his magic and were treated to a special clinic.
"Kevin Spencer is an incredible speaker and very interactive with his target audience," said Mildred Dones, ACH Director of Acute Rehab. "He deeply cares that clinicians learn magic tricks to help engage patients in therapy treatment sessions. He had excellent reviews from our clinicians and was able to give us tools to use immediately in our treatment sessions."
