Donating Toys and Gifts to Patients at All Children's Hospital
All Children's Hospital appreciates the community support for the children we serve. Donations of new toys, games and crafts can be used throughout the year for the thousands of patients who come through our doors. During the holidays, we are especially grateful for the donation of patient gifts. With the strain of the current economy and the stress of coping with complex medical conditions, families are finding it increasingly difficult to provide the "extras" that come with the holidays.
Please drop off toy donations at the hospital lobby, located at 501 6th Avenue South in St. Petersburg. If you have questions or need additional information, please contact the Child Life Department at 727-767-4323.
If you are considering a donation of toys for All Children's Hospital during the holiday season, please note that our patients range in age from birth through 21 years. Approximately 60% of our patients are three years and under. However, we provide services to many teenagers as well. All toys and gifts must be newly purchased due to infection/safety concerns. Toys & stuffed animals exposed to smoke cannot be accepted. Some of the donated items may be used as gifts to individual patients, utilized in playrooms, support groups, as in-room activities for patients and in conjunction with therapies.

All Children's Hospital is pleased to announce its new holiday registry list live on Amazon.com. Simply visit http://bit.ly/achwishlist to shop the All Kids Holiday Wish list. Toys have been previously selected for all ages as well as some items needed for individual units. Once the items are purchased, they will be mailed directly to All Children's Hospital. It's as simple as that to create big smiles at All Children's this holiday season.
A Note About Gifts of Food
The holidays are also a time when many groups and families wish to provide food or treats as gifts for hospitalized children. Because of the many varied dietary restrictions our patients face, we are unable to accept gifts of food. Donated food items will be given to the Ronald McDonald House for families of patients treated at All Children's Hospital.
