All Children’s Hospital Wins Five “Best In Class” Web Awards
The 2011 Greystone.Net and Krames StayWell "Best In Class" Client Award Winners were announced at their Client Conference on November 7, 2011, in Orlando, FL. All Children's Hospital brought home a total of five awards, including the "Best in Class" Gold award for Best Overall Web Engagement.

"All Children's Hospital is an excellent example of the use of a wide variety of tools and techniques to engage audiences, build relationships and garner organizational support," said Mike Schneider, Executive Vice President, Greystone.Net. "The eHealth team at All Children's has effectively blended together the use of the Web site with social media tools, mobile tools and multimedia, and has used health content to integrate Web and print to better support patient needs. They represent an excellent example of an evolving, truly integrated and effective Web presence for the organization, said Schneider."

All Children's also received four other awards:

  • Gold - Best Execution of Social Media Tactics (A Taste of Pinellas)
  • Gold - Best Use of Multimedia (Hand Hygiene – Scrub-A-Dub Dub)
  • Silver - Best Use of Health Content for Patient Support (GetWellNetwork)
  • Bronze - Innovator's Award (Online Job Application)

The award for Best Overall Web Engagement stated:

For many years, All Children's has been a forward thinking organization, leading in the adoption of interactive tactics and skillfully coordinating them with traditional marketing and communication channels. The Taste of Pinellas event is a prime example of how to effectively combine interactive tools with public relations, community relations, marketing and philanthropy. All Children's innovative use of multimedia — through campaigns such as the Scrub-a-Dub Dub hand hygiene program — show creativity in impacting patient care through interactive and traditional media.

Throughout the years, All Children's has been a leader in the development and execution of hospital-based Web strategy. That continued in 2011. All Children's truly represents Best in Class work in many areas including Web strategic thinking and execution, use of multimedia, use of social media, emerging technologies, and health content for a variety of purposes. Each year, All Children's continues to be on the leading edge of Web innovation in healthcare. We're eager to see what 2012 brings from All Children's Hospital and its eHealth and marketing teams.

"We are extremely honored to have received this recognition from our peers on behalf of the hospital," said David Gardner, eHealth Director. "These projects were team efforts that were successful thanks to many departments at ACH, including Information Technology, Human Resources, Infection Control, Creative Services and Marketing."
