Festival of States Sungoddess Visits All Children's
The 2011 Festival of States Sungoddess, Kirsten Teresi, visited All Children's on August 17. During her visit, she also helped patients play Video Bingo.
The Sungoddess program has been a tradition in St. Petersburg since 1955. This scholarship based program was created by the Suncoasters of St. Petersburg to honor young women in Pinellas County who maintain academic success and support their community through volunteerism. The Sungoddess represents the Festival of States as a goodwill ambassador at various events throughout the year.
The Festival of States is celebrating its' 90th year in 2011. It is produced by the Suncoasters, an organization of more than 200 business, professionals and civic leaders.
