All Children's Hospital has some great programs this fall for fitness, family, and fun. The fall Fit4Allkids Weight Management and Fitness for Families classes will be offered starting in September. These weight management and fitness classes are fun and interactive and encourage children to do their personal best. Our Fit4Allkids experts have made a commitment to help families get active and healthy and want to invite your family to join us for the fall session. We offer four program locations, including St. Petersburg, Largo (for our teens), Clearwater and New Port Richey. Classes are designed for children and their families and a physician referral is required. If you'd like more information about the program, check out allkids.org/Fit4allkids - and if you're interested in participating, talk to your child's physician.
There are great cooking programs available, too! Kohl's Cooks for Kids Family Cooking Classes show kids that cooking and eating healthy food is fun — and children are more likely to try new foods if they play an active role in choosing and preparing them. These free cooking classes are offered in 5-week sessions in St. Petersburg, Largo, New Port Richey and Seffner.
