musicians Shelly Starks and Tommy Girvin brought music and merriment to the All Children's Specialty Care of Tampa this summer, entertaining patients, families, and staff. The Summer Concert series in Tampa a hit for everyone involved -- according to series organizer and Child Life Specialist Michele Suarez, "Families have been overcome with emotion and gratitude to have had such an experience during a medical appointment."
Shelly Starks This summer, Shelly returned to All Children's Specialty Care of Tampa to help launch the summer concert series. Shelly serenaded the children with popular music heard on the radio, bringing a cheerful environment for families while they waited for their appointments, and inspiring the children to join her in singing their favorite songs.
Tommy Girvin Mr. Tommy recently shared his talents for the first time at All Children's Specialty Care of Tampa. Mr. Tommy specializes in making old songs feel new. Mr. Tommy brought a sense of playfulness while providing musical entertainment that was exciting, fun and educational.
In the fall the series will conclude with a performance by Chris McCarty.
