High school students interested in learning about health care careers are invited to attend the first meeting of the All Children's Hospital Medical Explorers on Wednesday, Sept. 8 from 4:00 p.m.- 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Education and Conference Center, located at 701 4th Street. S. in St. Petersburg.
Medical Explorers meet monthly during the school year. Programs include one-on-one sessions with a variety of physicians, residents, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
There will also be opportunities to learn about various hospital departments and meet with the staff. Department tours will include: the Emergency Center, Surgical Services, Radiology, Intensive Care and the Neonatal Unit.
