Another First: Bayflite Lands at ACH

It was only a test, but Bayflite made it's first landing atop the new ACH on Monday, Jan. 11. The landing was a familiarity flight for the Bayflite pilots. They also made a night landing later the same day. Our helipad has now been approved by the FAA and the Fire Department.

The first use of the helipad for an actual patient transport came on Tues. Jan 12 when our transport team flew with Bayflite to the Peace River area.

In addition to our entrances at the main lobby and Emergency Center, ACH can now receive patients from the roof who are being flown in from other parts of our coverage area.
